What Is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is used to publish frequently updated content including, but not limited to, blog entries, news headlines, and podcasts. An RSS document (which is also known as a feed, web feed, or channel) contains either summaries of the content or the full content.
RSS content can be read using a variety of software programs called "RSS Readers", "feed reader", or an "aggregator". Users' subscribe to a feed which allows them to receive regular content updates.
